The File Transfer portion of the TrilogyEC gives you the ability to send a
file to any current TrilogyEC participant. When you transfer a file
with the TrilogyEC, it is automatically compressed and encrypted (using
256 bit AES encryption) before it gets sent. The pass key used to
encrypt the file is dependant upon the security setting (Secure or
Ultra-Secure). Upon reception by a
user with another TrilogyEC, the file is decompressed and decrypted.
This system ensures that what ever you send will always be sent secure and as efficiently as possible.
A
file that you send with the TrilogyEC can ONLY be decrypted by the person
that you sent it to.
When you wish to transfer a file, simply click the browse button to find the file that you wish to send,
review the file's details, select a recipient and click the send button.
Note: TrilogyEC users with private IP addresses or NAT (Network Address
Translation) addresses may not receive your transferred files.
