The
Buddy List provides global awareness to TrilogyEC users. With this,
you will be notified when your buddies are online. When a connection
is made to another TrilogyEC user, they are automatically added to your
buddy list. If you choose to remove an individual from your buddy
list, you will not have awareness of their online status, nor will they
have any of yours. While new connections are automatically added to
your buddy list by default, you may disable this feature by unchecking the
Auto-Add feature.
The
Buddy List configuration page also allows you to stop sending your online
status notifications to your buddies with a single click.
Note: In some cases, buddies with private IP addresses or NAT (Network Address
Translation) addresses may not receive your status updates.
