About You

The About You configuration screen is where you can adjust the personal information that you have chosen to share with the TrilogyEC users that you connect with.  The information that you provide is only used by the people that you connect with for identification purposes.  Feel free to enter what ever you would like (just as long as the people that you connect with can recognize you).  Upon successful connection with another TrilogyEC user, this identification information is exchanged and used to build address book entries.  After the first connection, you can double-click their "full name" in your address book to initiate the call instead of entering their IP address.

You may change the following:

Full name

Enter the name that you wish to be seen as by other TrilogyEC users.  In military or government environments, you may need to follow an established naming standard.

Example of naming standard:  Command Section Rank Lastname (i.e. CENTCOM J6 Maj Thompson)

Enter the email address that you wish to share with the TrilogyEC users that you connect to.

Enter the phone number that you wish to share with the TrilogyEC users that you connect to.  You may enter DSN or other types of phone number as well.

This screen is also where you would change your TrilogyEC password.  Simply enter a new password, confirm it, then click the Save button.

All of the data contained in your profile & address book are protected by the same strength encryption as the rest of the application (256 bit AES).

Note:  It is important the you remember your TrilogyEC password as they can never be recovered.  This is a direct result of the extreme levels of security provided by the TrilogyEC.  Not only can you not access your information without your password, but neither can anyone else (including Trilogy Solutions, Inc support personnel).
